  31. WHAT IS FOLDING FAN SCREEN SAVER?

  33. ZDI's Folding Fan Screen Saver is a Windows 3.1 screen saver 
  34. designed to display Bitmap image files onto the screen at a user 
  35. selected speed within a Folding Fan.

  42. This is the initial release of ZDI's Folding Fan Screen Saver.

  45. HOW DOES THE FOLDING FAN SCREEN SAVER WORK?
  46.  
  47. ZDI's Folding Fan Screen Saver simply cycles through a collection of 
  48. Windows BMP File images and unfolds them to the screen.  The user
  49. may add any Windows 3.1 BMP file.  Folding Fan is designed to handle
  50. most image sizes, but will display images saved to 640 x 380 entirely
  51. in the fan.

  53. HOW DO I INSTALL THE FOLDING FAN SCREEN SAVER?

  55. 1. Unzip the file into a temp directory.
  56.  
  57. 2. From Windows run INSTALL.EXE and follow the prompts.
  58.  
  59. 3. Once installed on your system select click on Control Panel 
  60.    in Group Main and then click on Desktop.  Under Screen Saver
  61.    chose the Name "Fan" then click on Setup and chose the 
  62.    correct path to the images (default - c:\windows\images).  
  63.    Adjust settings as desired and the click on the Test button
  64.    to test or OK to save settings.

  66. 4. Under Display Option, checking the box will fit the image into
  67.    the Fan.  Unchecked the image will be blended into the fan (this
  68.    is the setting best used for 640 x 380 image sizes).
