- WHAT IS FOLDING FAN SCREEN SAVER?
-
- ZDI's Folding Fan Screen Saver is a Windows 3.1 screen saver
- designed to display Bitmap image files onto the screen at a user
- selected speed within a Folding Fan.
-
-
- HISTORY
-
- Version 1.0 - Released 06/25/94
-
- This is the initial release of ZDI's Folding Fan Screen Saver.
-
-
- HOW DOES THE FOLDING FAN SCREEN SAVER WORK?
-
- ZDI's Folding Fan Screen Saver simply cycles through a collection of
- Windows BMP File images and unfolds them to the screen. The user
- may add any Windows 3.1 BMP file. Folding Fan is designed to handle
- most image sizes, but will display images saved to 640 x 380 entirely
- in the fan.
-
- HOW DO I INSTALL THE FOLDING FAN SCREEN SAVER?
-
- 1. Unzip the file into a temp directory.
-
- 2. From Windows run INSTALL.EXE and follow the prompts.
-
- 3. Once installed on your system select click on Control Panel
- in Group Main and then click on Desktop. Under Screen Saver
- chose the Name "Fan" then click on Setup and chose the
- correct path to the images (default - c:\windows\images).
- Adjust settings as desired and the click on the Test button
- to test or OK to save settings.
-
- 4. Under Display Option, checking the box will fit the image into
- the Fan. Unchecked the image will be blended into the fan (this
- is the setting best used for 640 x 380 image sizes).
-
